DongGuan land Jackson Vroman (by Eurobasket News)
DongGuan made a serious market move as they landed Jackson Vroman (208-C/F-81, college: Iowa St.). The US-Lebanese power forward spent the previous season in Iran. Jackson Vroman tallied 22.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per Asian Club Championship with Mahram. Vroman played for Lebanon at the 2010 World Championship. The forward averaged 14.8 points, 6.4 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.6 steals per game in Turkey. Jackson Vroman had stints in the NBA. He used to play for the Phoenix Suns and the New Orleans Hornets.
DongGuan are also interested in signing Jamaal Tinsley (191-G-78, college: Iowa St.). The 32-year-old guard has played in the NBA since graduating from college. Last season Jamaal Tinsley started in the Indiana Pacers but then moved to the Memphis Grizzlies. He tallied 3.5 points, 2.8 assists and 1.7 rebounds per game for the Grizzlies.
